BEAR BROOK STATE PARK
MORE THAN JUST A TRAIL RIDE, THIS IS A
"RIDE FOR LIFE"
Gerda's Equine Rescue (GER) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to rescuing horses from the unthinkable fate of being slaughter bound for human consumption. Since its founding in 2005, GER has been able to able to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home over 1,000 horses!

The goal of this, our third annual “Ride For Life,” is to raise awareness of the plight of these beautiful and deserving animals, and to provide desperately needed funds for GER and the life-changing work that they do.
Last year, we had 69 riders and raised over $3000!!! Again this year, each rider is asked to gather as many sponsors as possible- family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, trail riding partners (yes- you can even sponsor one another!). Please be creative, be generous, and let's make this year better than ever! Let's do it for the horses.

Volunteers are desperately needed! If you have some time to spare- an hour or a day- please contact Heidi. You may refer to the "Volunteers" section for a listing of jobs and urgent needs. THANK YOU!
